A look back at 2020 and what's in store for 2021
We all thought 2020 was going to be “the year.” We read 2020 was going to be like having 20/20 vision. In some ways, I think it was like have 20/20 vision. In other ways, I was blindsided. Who knew we were going to be living through a pandemic, earthquakes, school closures, and toilet paper shortages? A lot of horrible things happened but a lot of amazing things happened as well. Kenny started creating a Lightroom course, we both started new jobs that we love, we were able to spend more time together as a family and our business grew more than we could imagine.
2020 is behind us, and I am looking forward to 2021. Here’s what we have in store:
Mentoring sessions
We will be offering one-on-one mentoring sessions with Kenny! We are excited to start offering this because Kenny has taught photographers in the past and has missed doing it.
Lightroom course
Kenny has been working so hard on creating a course that teaches other photographers how to use Lightroom. We are excited to launch this in March!
Resources for photographers (guides, templates, etc.)
We want to be photographers’ go-to when they need some extra help. We understand that in order to be the best photographer, you have to do more than shoot a session and edit it. Client experience is where it’s at. We are creating guides and templates for other photographers to use to elevate their client experience.
Resources for clients (guides)
We understand that it’s difficult to know where to begin when you decide you want a session. That’s why we have put together packets jam-packed with information on what to expect, location recommendations, and outfit recommendations. We want to take the stress out of planning your session.
Sessions
Kenny will still be shooting sessions! This is his true passion, so he won’t be stopping anytime soon.
If 2020 taught me anything, it was to be flexible. We haven’t planned everything out because I want to be flexible in case something drastic happens again. We have rough launch dates, so we have goals, but we aren’t so stressed about getting every little thing done on time. Life gets crazy running a business, working full-time, and raising a family. We are giving ourselves grace.
